City and Guilds of London Art School
School Description
Founded in the year 1854 as the Lambeth School of Art, the institution is among England's longest established art schools, yet continues to maintain its tradition of providing high standards and student-centered approach in education through a small scale of operations, with only 320 combined number of staff and students.
City & Guilds of London Art School is located just opposite the Kennington Tube Station, just within the easy reach of prime art galleries and museums in London. Its facilities are housed in an old 1930s warehouse where its Victorian built studies provide students their own access to workspaces and specialist technical facilities for woodworking, bronze casting, etching, and glassworking.
