Performing Arts (Capital University)
The performing arts program at Capital University helps undergraduates develop a multitude of performance skills and hone their craft. When enrolled in the program, students can choose one aspect of musical performance to focus on among these four areas: instrumental, piano, organ or vocal. There is also the option of incorporating elements of opera or musical theater into one’s studies of vocal performance.
Regardless of which area students choose to focus on, they can all have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the performing arts. The program at Capital University allows performance majors to practice their skills in solo, instrumental, choral, chamber and large ensemble performances. This extensive experience permits students to further develop their skills in a real-world setting.
With a performing arts degree, students may find that they have a variety of options after college. Attending graduate school and performing in orchestras are among the many paths that performance graduates can choose to take. Whatever they decide to do with their degree, the program in performing arts can help them achieve their goals.
