The 37-credit BA program in mathematics at Capital University is well-suited for students seeking further graduate studies in related fields, as well as those seeking employment in a wide range of fields that benefit from critical thinking and problem-solving. The four-year program is designed to prepare participating students for professional opportunities in systems analysis, research and development, and education.
The undergraduate mathematics program is designed for students to gain a fundamental base of mathematics knowledge in calculus, algebra, and statistics while providing opportunities to apply mathematics to a variety of related disciplines through supporting courses in computer and physical science.
