Marketing (Capital University)
This four-year undergraduate marketing program at Capital University requires the completion of 120 credit hours and is designed to provide students with the knowledge and experience necessary to enter a career in marketing following graduation. Courses are designed to equip program participants with a specific set of desirable skills including knowing how to give presentations, conducting and interpreting research, writing professional reports and proposal requests, and creating effective marketing plans. Upon completion of the program, all students will be certified in digital marketing and have completed at least one internship with a local business.
Over the course of the program, students will apply their skills to the real world by taking the work they do in their classes to local business owners or representatives. By completing a wide variety of projects, including creating promotional campaigns, performing marketing research and analysis, and developing marketing plans for actual businesses, participants will graduate with an impressive professional marketing portfolio they can show future employers.
