Program Description

The curriculum for Capital University’s BA in communication consists of 47 credit hours in studying the effect of media, performance, and communication on cultures and societies. This four-year program offers exposure to a broad spectrum of perspectives, allowing students to learn how to effectively communicate ideas in professional settings and in various types of performance media. Students can expect to learn how to research and analyze communication in a wide variety of fields, including everything from theatre and film to public relations and organizational communication.

The program not only provides an overview of communication observation and analysis, but it also promotes undergraduate research, internships, and experiential projects that give insight into potential career paths for participants.
