Campbellsville University founded in 1906 by the Russel Creek Baptist Association was originally a school for boys known as Russel Creek Academy, located in the heart of South Kentucky. The School gradually improved its offerings and introduced a four-year curriculum, which ultimately helped them gain the title of a university establishment in 1996.
The University strides in serving its students with academic excellence especially in liberal arts that invokes personal growth, integrity and professionalism in a diverse, global perspective. Campbellsville University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award certificates, associate, bachelors, and masters degrees.
