Mechanical Engineering (California State University - Long Beach)
The mechanical engineering program at California State University, Long Beach is an intensive program in which participants gain the theoretical foundation and practical knowledge necessary to obtain and maintain a lucrative career in engineering. The program offers a variety of courses, and which ones a student takes all depends on his or her chosen area of expertise. Graduates of the program may go into the fields of advanced manufacturing, robotics or spacecraft design.
Regardless of a student's specialty, he or she is likely to connect and collaborate with government agencies and local companies at some point or another during his or her two to six years in the program.
