Business Administration (California State University - Long Beach)
Students who take the 4-year undergraduate business administration program at California State University, Long Beach must complete a minimum of 120 credits to graduate. All program participants will be educated on essential business functions and financial principles that they can use to succeed in a real-life business scenario. Core skills that will be taught over the course of the program include financial accounting, basic principles of economics, business calculus and statistics, management and marketing. This program also requires students to take an office productivity software course to strengthen their computer literacy skills.
While all students will learn the fundamentals of business administration when choosing this program, they can focus on a particular field depending on their intended career. Choices include accountancy, finance, information system, international business, management and human resources management and marketing. Additional elective courses in these subjects allow participants to narrow their studies and gain the necessary skills to be successful in various business-related fields.
