A Band of Brothers (and sisters)
I enrolled at CBC in 1958 after serving 6 years in the USMC. At that time there were only a handful of Vets at the school. Immediately I found new friends (we met in the basement which was the student lounge at that time) that provided a true bonding experience. The school was still transitioning from the Woodmen's occupation so we met in classrooms that still had the imprint of the previous occupants. We parked in a dirt parking lot 75 yards from the classrooms. It didn't take me long to feel "connected" with faculty and fellow students. The four years I spent at CBC will always be fondly remembered.

CBU is a fine University
I can say without hesitation that CBU changed my life. I decided to make a mid-life career change and I was full of fear and anxiety about the future. The professors and administrators guided me through a rigorous MSN program. They held me accountable, but did so in a very caring way. Their Christian world view was preached and practiced in a very subtle, non-intrusive way. Finally, my classmates will be lifelong friends.
