Caldwell University
School Description
Caldwell University was established in 1939, by the Sisters of Saint Dominic. Its initial name was Caldwell College, and in 1974, it became the first institution in New Jersey to award Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. With the approval to grant Masters in Curriculum and Instruction in 1992, the institution now offers 13 graduate degree programs. The institution officially gained university status in 2014.
Caldwell University has a diverse student population, with more than 30 countries represented. Caldwell also has a diverse number of student clubs and organizations that include, the Black Student Union (BSU) Dance Club, Martial Arts Club, and the International Student Organization (ISO).
