School Description

Brigham Young University was founded in the year 1875 as Brigham Young Academy established to educate the children of the Latter-Day Saints with good education. In the year 1903, Brigham Young Academy was dissolved and this resulted in the formation of two educational institutes namely: Brigham Young High School and the Brigham Young University. Over the year, BYU evolved and several expansions were made to its main campus in Provo, Utah.

Today, Brigham Young University features #15 in the U.S News and World Report ranking amongst the best value schools in the United States. Brigham Young University offers more than 65 graduate level degrees in the discipline of business, engineering, social sciences, life sciences, law and more. BYU's more than 1,300 International students come from more than 100 countries around the world. Brigham Young University offers several intramural activities, clubs and organizations for on-campus students to participate in and enjoy campus life.
