Bradley University

School Description

Bradley University was established in 1897, thanks to the determination of Mrs. Lydia Moss Bradley. The institution opened up with 14 faculty members and just 150 students. Just 2 years later, the student population in the School of Arts and Sciences became 350. The institution became a four year college in 1920, and in 1946 it gained university status.

Bradley University today has over 5000 students that represent 33 different countries. Students at BU have a choice of over 240 student organizations to be involved in. the campus sits on an 84-acre land and consists of 77 buildings. The Markin Center at BU provides numerous activities that include indoor tracks, basketball courts and a rock climbing wall.
