Black Hills State University
Black Hills State University was founded in 1883. BHSU is located in a region called the northern Black Hills, which is good for students because they can enjoy many outdoor activities and culture of the region. In fact, the region is recognized in the top ten most livable cities in the US. In addition to its main campus, a second location was recently opened in Rapid city.
Black Hills State University today has over 4,000 students. BHSU offers residence for students to live on campus, as well as clubs and organizations for the students to get involved in. some of these include, the Exercise Science Club, Environmental Sustainability Student Organization, and the Travel and Tourism Club.
