Bastyr University
School Description
Bastyr University was founded in 1978 after the closure of the National College of Naturopathic Medicine. Three graduates from that college decided to create a new naturopathic school. The three men agreed on the name John Bastyr College of Naturopathic Medicine, naming it after their beloved instructor.
Bastyr University today has 1,269 students and 92 international students that represent 34 countries. With its main campus in Kenmore, Washington, Bastyr University opened a campus in San Diego, California in 2012.
