            The best student experience

To me, York combines everything that is good about university. It has a campus that gives the perfect community feel and is within walking distance of one of the UK's most beautiful cities. There is so much to do both at the university with sports, societies, volunteering and more, and in the city which is rich in culture.

I loved my time at York (in Derwent College) studying Philosophy during 1968-1971 - intellectually stimulating, beautiful grounds and a wonderful ancient city nearby.
