School Description

University of West Georgia (UWG) is a home to over 13, 500 students, from 38 states in the United States and 73 countries around the world.UWG offer over 88 bachelor’s degree program to its colleges and some of the courses offered are accounting, African studies, arts and sculpture, biology, economics, English, Spanish, management information system, nursing, and mathematics. UWG has 9 residence halls; all located within walking distances to the university facilities, and all freshmen under the age of 21 are mandated to live on-campus as accommodation is guaranteed. Other resources available to degree-seeking students include the Center for Student Involvement which is dedicated to promoting and ensuring a fully integrated student body. Recreational activities are not left out of the students’ curriculum as fitness centers, sports clubs, gym centers, and other athletic events take place concomitantly with studies.

        Now this university is my heart, it is the best in diversity , the commuting population and the residential population is the best wave of the seasons. The courses are the best the staff is of the elite in the world sports alike . The sorority and fraternity have the best initiation activities of safety. The campus is fully equipped in all facilities. The teachers are the most in character and personalities. Kids get an early start -11th grade- the classes fill quick.

        They have one of the best mixes of online and in-class programs with their Richards College of Business. I had a (more than) full-time job and was able to complete about 80% of my Econ and Finance classes online. Great staff in Economics!
