University of the Potomac (UOTP) is located in the heart of the capital of the United States, Washington DC. UOTP offers bachelors, associate , and masters degrees. School Description

The University of the Potomac was established in 1989 as Potomac Educational Foundation, operating as an institution of higher education. Two years later it became Potomac College in Rockville, Maryland, serving as an institution for working adults looking to complete their degrees. In 1997, the college moved to Washington DC and it was granted approval to award the bachelor of science degree. After years of academic growth, the college gained university status in 2013 as it officially changed its name to the University of the Potomac.

University of the Potomac offers a multicultural atmosphere at its Washington DC campus. Being in one of the most famous and most visited places in America, students benefit from the fact that UOTP has many partnerships with businesses and organizations, offering them the chance at diverse internship opportunities. UOTP students also get their own Student Mentor, who helps guide the student right from the initial application process until graduation.

            Potomac College

            I like the small classes and inter action of the instructors. The staff has been very diligent in making sure that the students get all the information and tools they need to be productive while attending college. As a work adult and busy mother I found it to be comfortable to attend Potomac and still work and manage my home life.
