School Description

The University of Southampton was officially established in 1952, however its history goes as far back as 1862 when The Hartley Institute is formed; later called, the Hartley University College in 1902. Hence from very humble beginnings, the University of Southampton has risen to become a world-renowned institution. Today it is regarded is one of the UK’s top institutions for engineering, computer science and medicine. 

University of Hampton is making a huge impact through its research; from new approaches to sustainable power to pioneering treatments for conditions such as cancer and Alzheimer’s disease.
