School Description

University of Miami (UM), was established in 1925, around the time of the region’s real estate boom. The school was borne out of the need for a higher education institution to serve the needs of the community’s young and growing community.

Today, the University of Miami is an established private research university with approximately 10,000 undergraduate students from around the world and more than 3,000 full-time teaching faculty members, 96% of whom hold the highest degree in their fields.
