1981-1982, Master's Degree, LLM in Administrative and International Law, also MPHIL Criminology
Cambridge gave me the space to think without pressure and without fear. I will always remember the University as one where the academics were quizzically charming (but intellectually demanding) and the students were breathlessly engaged in learning as much as possible whilst having the best possible time. Cambridge was also a place which celebrated eccentricity and difference. It taught me to be less judgmental and more tolerant of those who held different views from myself. Altogether, an exhilarating experience.
