If you want to stand out and make your mark at an excellent university, then become a Bobcat. The small campus vibe caters to students who easily want to get involved and make meaningful relationships with their fellow students and first-class professors. UC Merced has a wonderful location next to one of the greatest national parks in the world, Yosemite National Park, and driving distance to Bay Area cities. Its initiatives for development and sustainability as a university and within the community continue to impress. The leadership skills I gained from organizations such as Sigma Chi along with my academics have been the cornerstone to a successful career.
