Unity and OpportUnityIn 1990 I graduted from Hingham High School in Hingham, Massachusetts, at that time I played lacrosse and wanted to continue that passion in college, I had visited Unity back thenand really loved it, however they did not have a varsity lacrosse program and I decided not to attend. A few years went by and collegiate lacrosse was no longer important, I immediately reached out to Unity College and enrolled in the Spring of 1992. Best decision I ever made, my life changed at that moment. There are so many great things about Unity College, the small school atmosphere, the hands on education, the strong bonds with the professors and the dedication that they have for the students and so much more! I am more than grateful for my Unity Opportunity! Thank You!

The Gift Unity Gave meIt has now been nearly 36 years since I left Unity with a B.S. in Environmental Science. If I only knew then what I know now. What I know now is that my education at Unity, formal and informal, prepared me for many things in life and work that I did not know I needed. It is only with the passing of the years that I have come to appreciate the learning environment on Quaker Hill was just what I needed. A larger school would have been an entirely different experience. I would not have known the faculty as I did and the surroundings, the local environment and community would not have been as welcoming and created an environment for learning and growing as a person and student. I'll always be grateful for what Unity gave me and what she offers to those yet to come.
