Trinity International University - Bachelor's Degree
Trinity International University is a Christian institution made up of a liberal arts college, a divinity school, and graduate school headquartered in the main Deerfield Campus in Illinois. It offers undergraduate and graduate programs in arts and sciences, business, education, theology among many others. Trinity International University is the educational ministry of the Evangelical Free Church of America and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
School Description
Trinity International University started in 1897 as a 10-week Bible course in the basement of a church led by the Swedish Evangelical Free Church in Chicago. After a series of development, mergers, and withdrawals, its seminary and college renamed Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and Trinity College respectively moved to their present Deerfield Campus in 1960s and in the 1990s established several regional centers in Illinois, Florida and California.
At present, Trinity International University employs almost 100 faculty members and provides education for 3,000 students governed by 31-member Board of Regents half of which are appointed by the delegates of Evangelical Free Church of America Conference. Its campus in Deerfield, Illinois covers over 100 acres of land contains 8 academic buildings, 5 residence halls, a sports complex, and a chapel all located in a suburban area accessible to various educational, cultural, and sporting opportunities in the city.
