The Trinity college came into existence in 1971 with the merger of three colleges: Clifton College, Dalton House with St Michaels, and Tyndale Hall. Years following 1982, the college experienced growth and increase in enrollment In 1997, the college formed Bristol Federation with Bristol Baptist College, Wesley College, and the West of England Ministerial Training Course (WEMTC). The trinity college still takes Bristol Baptist College as federated institutions, sharing common courses.
