Teesside University - Bachelor's Degree
Teeside University has a history that spans over 80 years dating back to the 1930s when the Constantine Technical College was opened by the then Prince of Wales. Over the next decade the number of students at the college grew rapidly. In 1969 Constantine College became Teesside Polytechnic. Teeside was awarded University status in 1992 and School continued to expand over the years both in terms of student enrollment which at this point stood at 8,000 as well as the introduction of new degrees such as criminology and computer graphics. In 2009 the University underwent a major rebrand as Teesside University.
Today Teeside University is regarded as one of the top university’s in the United Kingdom. Graduates from Teeside have been working all over the world for companies such as the BBC, Aston Martin, Disney, Johnson Matthey, HSBC, United States Air Force Research Lab, Vodafone, Microsoft, Rolls-Royce and more. Some of Teeside’s notable alumni include: Marek Reichman, Design Director for Aston Martin; Roger Shannon, Cannes award-winning film producer; Graeme Burnett, Senior Vice-President of Delta Airlines (formerly SVP of TOTAL Energy); and Andy Ireland, renowned sports physiotherapist whose clients have included Grand Slam tennis star Andy Murray.
