Why Sweet Briar College is a great place to go to college. Many years have passed since I graduated from SBC but the memories and friendships remain priceless. Additionally, attending an all girls' school provided an environment where I could grow intellectually, speak up in class and in student government without feeling self-conscious among thousands of students. The remote location and beauty of the campus reduced worldly distractions while being comfortable and attractive. With D. C. and NYC only hours away by train or car, one does not have to think metropolitan exposure and inspiration is unavailable. It was and is a wonderful place to attend and obtain an outstanding education.
