The educational experience was immensely challenging, and it gave me all the skills I needed to make my career. I'm a scientist, but the most important courses I took were music and art history, which have added to my quality of life in ways that can't be explained. Early in my career, I was hired for two jobs thanks to the S'more connection. Plus, I met my husband there, and we have been happily married since 1970. Quaker matchbox for sure. What more could you ask for?

The Experience—all of it; the variety of awesome experiences that you encounter! That's what you get from a Swarthmore Education! You not only benefit from the diversity of activities on the campus itself (which is incredibly beautiful and a living arboretum), but you get an extended bonus from the Tri-College experience (where both Haverford College & Bryn Mawr College rock themselves) and the encouragement & support to study abroad via a strong network that exists in various countries throughout the world! In the end, it's a love-hate relationship that you will never give up on—You totally love the diverse experiences & friendships when you’re there; and then you hate to leave them all behind when it's time for you to graduate and move on! All in all, a wonderful and splendid experience all around!
