No regrets being a SMCM Sea Hawk!YYI have never regretted attending St. Mary's College of Maryland, not one day since graduating. It was a beautiful campus where you can commute with the environment and step back in time into the history of Maryland. At St. Mary's you make friendships that last for life, student and professor alike. The classes there were excellent and intriguing, and the professors were inspiring and approachable. With a small campus, small classes, and a small community, you can easily get to know everyone without being lost in a giant crowd. May your wings soar my fellow Sea Hawks, and I entreat all you others out there to land in that wonderful nest.

"Big wins happen when you go beyond better sameness." - Guy KawasakiYYThis is one of my favorite quotes from venture capitalist and former Apple genius, Guy Kawasaki. It sums up an appropriate life view, and I would have never understood it if not for SMCM. Even eleven years later, having navigated the creative and the corporate world, you come to appreciate a place that encourages... no, EMBODIES what it means to find your voice and your vision. Not only was St. Mary's (and is) a physically beautiful place for me, but the faculty, staff, and the opportunities presented were another kind of beauty in themselves. You come understand that you have every right to question what you're told; however, be prepared to present and defend your own answers. SMCM prepares you for the corporate conference room, the stage, the studio, the laboratory, the classroom, the stock traders' floor, and the litigation room all at the same. It was one of the best times of my life, and I would do it all over again.
