Southwestern University is as good as it getsYYThere are many things that I loved about this outstanding liberal arts university. First, the academics are outstanding with most professors being authored, classes on average about 13-1, and an incredible variety of subjects to choose from. Many of the classes are small enough where debating life's subjects are a big part of the class. The size of the school of just over 1,600 students also makes the setting very intimate and the reason where many of my lifelong friends came from Southwestern. Being able to really get to know faculty and administrators at this university also helped immensely in me becoming a better student and person, as they were always glad to help out outside of class. You can't get a better undergrad experience.YYHunter HardyYPresident / Investment Advisor at InvestmentHunter Wealth ServicesY1978 – 1982, BA

Why I love Southwestern UniversityYYI am honored to be a member of the community that Southwestern University graduates form. I received a first class education at Southwestern during my time there that has served me well as I reflect on the forty year since I graduated. A few of things that separate Southwestern University from other Universities and educational institutions I have attended is its approachable and accessible staff, a strong, and dedicated alumni group representing successful professionals in a full range of professions and the high quality education on a beautiful campus. If you have an opportunity to attend Southwestern consider yourself lucky and get ready for an experience like mine.YYLouis W. CookYOwner at Nassau Counseling AssociatesY1974, B.A.
