Southwestern University - Bachelor's Degree

Southwestern University is an independent, four-year, undergraduate, national liberal arts college comprised of the Brown College of Arts and Sciences and the Sarofim School of Fine Arts in Georgetown, TX. With roots dating back to 1840, it remains affiliated with the United Methodist Church.

School Description

Southwestern’s academic departments offer 35 majors, 5 minors, and 7 pre-professional programs. Southwestern is a member of the NCAA Division III Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, and its teams, known as the Pirates, compete in 16 varsity sports. Notable Alumni include Pete Sessions (Congressman at U.S. House of Representatives) who did B.S. Political Science during 1974-1978, and Jay Richards (Executive Editor at The Stream) who did BA, Political Science, Religion during 1985-1989.
