Southwestern Oklahoma State is an excellent University for students looking for valuable interaction with Professors. SWOSU has a perfect student to instructor ratio allowing for a high level of communication between students and faculty. Though known for its Elementary and Secondary Education programs as well as its School of Pharmacy, the variety of other degree fields and the quality of education is on par with larger state universities. Southwestern is located about an hour west of Oklahoma City, in Weatherford, a perfect college town with the right mix of small town friendliness and access to a wide variety of activities and entertainment. My time at Southwestern Oklahoma State in Weatherford was very influential in my life and I would recommend SWOSU to anyone looking for an excellent education and college experience.
