SMSU is located in Marshall MN.

Small class room sizes, accessible for persons with disabilities. Campus is beautiful.

            Open to new ways

I was in one of the first five graduating classes but I still think SMSU is refreshing in it's openness to new ways of teaching and learning with an emphasis on inclusiveness and hands on experience.

            Great place to learn

Southwest was a great school ... the community, both on campus and Marshall, were key to the successful time I spent at the school. The hotel program, at the time, was highly regarded, and my professors moved on to even bigger programs outside MN, true testament to the talent and quality of education.
