My home away from homeIn April 2012, I had a terrible house fire in which my dog passed away in front of me. If it wasn't for the caring staff at Sinclair, I don't think I would graduate. The staff bought me shoes, clothes, books, and a lab top. I do not know how many schools would go that above and beyond to help one of their students. I am proud to say I am Sinclair Alumni!!!!!!!!

Sinclair Courseview Community College is a step in the right direction! The size of the classes where smaller then most University classes, which means you have a more intimate learning environment. I was able to attend college without going into debt. Being a part time student allowed me to work and take care of my family. The teachers were willing to work with me whenever I needed a better explanation or had a question. The student advisers at Courseview are amazing and super helpful and I got to know each and everyone of them by the time I graduated. The Kings Mills location is easy to get to and I am thrilled that they are expanding! It took me ten years after graduating from high school to further my education and it was the best thing I could have ever done for myself! By earning my associates through Sinclair, my confidence and discipline were renewed as was my ability to accomplish large goals one task at a time. Before I enrolled in Sinclair I had many doubts in my capability to pursue higher education. But I realized that if I didn't start I would never finish. Graduation was a big day for me and a defining moment in my life.
