Simmons College of Kentucky - Bachelor's Degree

Simmons College of Kentucky, also referred to as Simmons College and Simmons Bible College, is a historically black, co-educational college, founded in 1879. The school is in applicant status for accreditation from the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) and also plans to apply to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Its motto, ‘students first' gives utmost priority to its students. Notable people W. J. Simmons — ex-slave who was the college's second president, Samuel Plato, Arenia Mallory.
