Our primary purpose is to improve the quality of life in Central Illinois by actively serving the educational needs of the people, organizations, and institutions it serves.     At Richland, we offer transfer/baccalaureate and career and technical education programs. We are accredited through the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and received its reaccreditation under the Academic Quality Improvement Program in Spring 2008.

            Excellent Information Technology DepartmentI graduated from Richland with an Associates in Applied Science (Desktop Support). The professors are excellent and care about their students. I learned so much from them and still keep in contact with them to this day. I highly recommend Richland Community College.

            Staff that care about student success!I came to Richland with a high school GED. Because I had a staff member who cared about my education and success I went on to get a BS in Education and a Masters Degree. Mr. Rudy Stallheber was the administrator who cared.
