Quest University Canada - Bachelor's Degree
Quest University Canada opened its doors in September 2007 and boasts a brand new $100 million campus. The University is registered as a British Columbia, Education Quality Assurance (EQA) post-secondary institution and is approved by the Degree Quality Assessment Board (DQAB) under the British Columbia Ministry of Advanced Education. Quest also has the authority to grant degrees from the Sea to Sky University (SSU) Act passed in 2002, which is ratified regularly by the Ministry of Advanced Education.
The University offers one degree, a Bachelor of Arts and Science and operates on the one-course-at-a-time Block Plan. The first two years at Quest constitute the Foundation Program, which offers a balance among the sciences, social sciences, humanities, and the arts. In the final two years, the Concentration Program, students take part in creating their own program of learning by developing a ‘Question’ to guide their studies. The basis for developing the ‘Question’ is that it must be interdisciplinary, have a global context, involve experiential learning off campus and culminate in a Keystone project and public presentation.
Quest also has a diverse and international student body; its 700-member student body hails from over 45 countries.
