School Description

Queen`s University was established in 1841 by Royal Charter of Queen Victoria, making it one of Canada’s oldest degree-granting institutions. The institute started classes the following year in March, with 2 professors and 13 students. Over the years the University overcame the challenges of war and depression and expanded with faculties and departments in Medicine; Engineering and Applied Science; Mathematics; Physics; Biology; Psychology; Computing; Social Sciences; the Humanities; Education and more.
