I wasn't a standout in High School, and after a stint in the mIilitary I had no purpose in my life. I couldn't get into any of the fancy four-year universities so I applied to PBSC because it was close enough to where I live. All I had to do was take an entrance test and my foot was in the door, no questions asked. I received Pell grants and the post 911 GI Bill so there was no need to take out loans or anything. In fact was pocketing a nice piece of change every semester. Those were some good times... I found my interest for writing here, a passion that I'll have for the rest of my live. I'm currently studying at Emory University Law School. I'll never forget the place that gave me my shot and opened the doors for me.

This is a wonderful transition school from either high school to college or for those coming back to school after being out for a while due to work and life responsibilities. It is set up to stop and return at your convenience with a degree that transfers to any Florida college. The prices at PBSC up through graduation are cheaper than the other Florida colleges, strip mall colleges, and online degrees. The student to teacher ratio beats many other colleges, the offered courses and degrees are competitive and up-to-date with job market offerings, and the diverse student community helps increase your networking and prepares you for improved work experiences. I loved their Bachelor's in Business Management program, taking many classes here and filling in with FAU for others such as QMB which were not offered but necessary for Master's level entry. Loved the convenience, the teachers/professors, the prices, and how easy it is to register at PBSC.
