II owe all my success in art, design and educaation to OTIS

II owe all my success in art, design and educaation to OTISOtis was, without a doubt, an exceptional point of change in my life. My four-year experience at Otis provided the groundwork to build a great career and become artistically fulfilled. Both the professors and the curriculum exposed opportunities for curiosity and discovery, to experience and analyze, in order to flourish in ways I never imagined. While only in my early twenties when attending Otis College of Art & Design (known as Otis Art Institute of Parsons School of Design or Otis/Parsons in the 80’s - a part of Parsons School of Design, NYC) I was young and naive but was fortunate to be supported by professional artists and professors that knew how to retrieve the talent and skills that lay dormant within. To this day, nearly thirty years later, I am grateful for the opportunity bestowed upon me to become a fully developed creative thinker and maker. As a professional artist, designer and a professor I often reflect upon my experience as a student at Otis. Thus continually expanding my artistic-creative self and also retrieving the best from each my students. I am truly who I am today because of the expansion of my knowledge and talents encouraged to come fourth, to be seen, to be heard and appreciated as a student at Otis. Otis is one of the finest art colleges & institutions in the U.S. for developing creative thinking and talents.
