            1964-1968, Bachelor of Science (BS)

I always felt advantaged during my working career with the education I got at Ohio Northern. The strong background of engineering basics served me well. I am envious of the current students because the campus and facilities are beautiful today, not at all like it was 45 years ago.

            2001-2005, Bachelor of Arts

Ohio Northern really prepared me for the working world! The PR program at ONU is second to none and provided me with professional PR experience so that I could succeed right out of college. If you are interested in a career in state or federal government, I highly recommend interning at the Washington Center. ONU provides school credit so it is worth your while. My experience working in support of a presidential campaign and listening to numerous speakers discussing careers in government helped me decide to pursue government relations. The key to success is not only your grades, but in your involvement as well. Join everything you can related to your major because the experience you gain is priceless. I'm forever grateful to the professors because of the personalized instruction.

I loved attending ONU it was an amazing opportunity for me. From singing in Chapel Choir to participation in Kappa Phi, and the Student Teachers Association every experience was wonderful. It is small enough to make you feel valued as a student but large enough to expand your horizons. I loved going to Black Box theater productions and the art center. Football games and homecoming parades were true highlights of the year. Teachers in the education department were wonderful. My adviser, Dr. Donald Traxler, changed my life forever with his guidance and caring support. I treasure the memories and good friend I made at ONU. Go Polar Bears!
