School Description

Norwich University traces its roots back to the year 1819, when it was founded by Captain Alden Partridge as The American Literary, Scientific, and Military Academy. Norwich University has a long line of firsts but most importantly, we are the birthplace of ROTC.

Today, Norwich University remains among the pioneers of private military education. Over 45 states and 25 foreign countries are represented by Norwich University. About 2,300 undergraduate students are enrolled in its three colleges. Norwich University offers 33 bachelor's degree programs in areas of liberal arts, science and mathematics, engineering and professional studies. • 2012-2014, Master of Science (M.S.)

            Norwich University Online Master's program.

The online Master's program is one of the best programs out there. The skills and the education that I obtained will help me along my chosen career path and the required residency week was one of the best experiences of my life.

          • 1974-1978, BS

            Great School and Leadership Lab

Norwich was an excellent leadership lab in every respect. It was also an excellent academic environment absent many of the common distractions. Most people only get one chance to go to college and position themselves for the rest of their life. Make it count.

          • 2011-2013, MDY

MDY Program - "Blessed are the peacemakers."

It is impossible to for me to overstate the quality of the educational experience I received in my studies for my Masters Degree at Norwich University. While the curriculum was extremely challenging, the information was equally well-rounded and its lack of political biases was admirable. The intellectual and experiential caliber of my fellow-students with whom I interacted and of the Professors administering the courses served to enhance the studies enormously. I would recommend it to anyone pursuing a degree in higher education, without reservation.
