Northeast Catholic College - Bachelor's Degree

Northeast Catholic College is a liberal arts institution that offers bachelors and associates degrees in liberal studies. The Diocese of Manchester recognizes the college as a Catholic College. In addition, all the courses in the college are based on close reading and discussions of the ‘Great Books’. The Great Books program follows a Socratic pedagogy that requires critical thinking and discussions regarding the subject matter.

School Description

Northeast Catholic College had introduced a four-year liberal arts curriculum called Cowan Program that would go side-by-side with its Great Books Program. Later, this evolved into various concentrations and optional study of Greek in the Great Books Program.

The college offers ‘Career Pathway Programs’ where students are given internship opportunities and career-building ideas from experts to help them succeed in their post-collegiate jobs. These programs help students develop strong relationships with potential mentors and organizations to help them in the future. The New England Association of Schools and Colleges accredit the college.
