National University of Singapore (NUS) - Business School - Bachelor's Degree

Before proper establishment as a separate school, Business was officially taught as a separate discipline in University of Singapore in 1961. However, in 1965, the Department of Business Administration was formally set up. It was the merged wit the Department of Accountancy to form School of Accountancy and Business Administration in 1969. In 1987, due to reorganization, School of Accountancy was moved to the then NIT and consequently named as Faculty of Business Administration. In 2002, the present day NUS Business School, was established.

    A general program that focuses on the systematic study of the production, conservation and allocation of resources in conditions of scarcity, together with the organizational frameworks related to these processes. Includes instruction in economic theory, micro- and macroeconomics, comparative economic systems, money and banking systems, international economics, quantitative analytical methods, and applications to specific industries and public policy issues.
