You can get your education anywhere....

I went to a relatively small high school, my graduating class was 111. I'm the third oldest of ten kids and I was the first to go away to school. I knew nothing about searching for colleges, what would be important and I chose Monmouth strictly based on it's location to home and the fact I made the cheerleading squad. Having bee out of school for several years I laugh thinking back but ultimately if I could do it over again... I'd do it the same. My class sizes were small, I made so many friends whom I still speak to almost daily now. I joined Greek life, which I know had I gone to a big school the experience would have been completely different and I never would have joined. I was able to participate in a sport and was the lead on several activities. I found an advisor who genuinely cared about my education, pushed me to go outside the box, and encouraged me to apply for internships I never would have thought I could get. Little did I know I'd end up in Nashville for a summer working for Sony records. I found it reassuring to have someone so dedicated in my corner. You can get your education anywhere.... but not everywhere will care about it's students the way Monmouth staff does

            An amazing private school

Taught by PhD's, close friendships, class size under 20 (typically 10-12), amazing resident and Greek life...Monmouth College is what college was meant to be. You feel at home here. Your professors make you feel that you can do anything. Your voice is heard. YOU matter. I cannot recommend this school enough.

            Student / Teacher ratio

In my experience, my largest class size was under 30 students, and my smallest class size was two students. At Monmouth College, you are taught by professors, not graduate students. Opportunities for individuals to work one-on-one with the professors are common.
