School Description

Mercyhurst University is home to about 701 students from 46 states in the U.S and 52 foreign countries in the world. Mercyhurst offers over 50 programs its bachelor’s degree students including courses like accounting, anthropology/archaeology, management, marketing, and public health. Founded on strong Christian grounds, Mercyhurst through its Campus Ministry strives to create an environment that is hospitable and encourages the spiritual growth of the entire university community. At Mercyhurst, campus residence halls are primarily categorized into four: freshman housing options, sophomore housing options, upperclassmen housing options and graduate housing options. Amenities such as cable TV, computers & network services, wireless internet, laundry facilities and housekeeping & maintenance are made available in each living hall. And with over 85 student clubs, and a number of sports facilities, students at Mercyhurst can grow, develop and nurture their interests as well as maintain physical and mental health. In addition, the university maintains close ties with the Department of Police & Safety to provide a safe living and learning environment for its campus community.
