Knox College - Bachelor's Degree

The Lincoln Studies Center was established in 1998 by Rodney Davis and Douglas L. Wilson, who serve as joint co-chairs. The center deals with issues relating to the life and legacy of Abraham Lincoln by fostering new research, publishing monographs, hosting annual lectures and occasional symposium.

School Description

The fifth Lincoln-Douglas debate was held on Knox College campus in 1858. Lincoln used the occasion to denounce slavery on moral terms for the first time. This was not a coincidence.
