Kiuna Institute - Bachelor's Degree
Although being open to all Quebec students, the institution houses a sixty students primarily First Nations across Quebec. Currently, led by Associate Director Prudence Hannis, Kiuna is the result of ten years of work of the Council team in the First Nations Education Council (FNEC). The objective is simple: to provide the youth of First Nations with a college specifically devised for them and a learning environment that takes into account their cultural specificities, social background and interests.
This program is designed to equip students with the theoretical and practical knowledge of the fundamentals of Business Administration. The program offers courses that focus on the study of management theory; human resource management and behavior; accounting, purchasing and logistics; organization and production; marketing; and business decision-making.
This program is designed to equip students with the theoretical and practical knowledge of the fundamentals of Business Economics. The program offers courses that focus on the study of the systematic and efficient allocation of resources; economic theory; micro and macroeconomics; comparative economic systems; banking systems; international economics; quantitative analytical methods; and public policy.
This program is designed to equip students with the theoretical, conceptual, and practical knowledge of Social Sciences. The program offers courses that focus on the study of economics; political science; human geography; demography; management; psychology; sociology; anthropology; archaeology; jurisprudence; history; and linguistics.
This program equips students with the knowledge of exercise and physical activities that promote physical fitness. The program combines coursework that includes professional education and physical education, offering courses that focus on the study of kinesiology; exercise psychology; and motor skills development.
This program is designed to equip students with the theoretical and conceptual knowledge of the fundamentals of Political Science. The program offers courses that focus on understanding political ideas, ideologies, institutions, policies, processes, and behavior. As well as groups, classes, government, diplomacy, law, strategy, and war.
