I would say that I achieved 100% of what I set out for when I came to the Business School. I managed to transition from a purely engineering role to a more business management role. On the completion of my MBA, I took up a role as a Strategy and Development manager which helped me apply all that I learnt in a more strategic role rather than the operational one that I was used to. The rest is history as I have moved on from there to now be a business leader for a major global organisation.
2010, MSc Finance
The programme has given me broader knowledge of different asset classes and derivatives, and how these instruments are priced. The programme also enhanced my analytical skills which I have applied in developing market commentary and trade ideas.
2010, MSc Risk Management and Financial Engineering
Studying MSc Risk Management and Financial Engineering was an exhilarating experience. I learnt a lot on the programme and built a strong understanding of finance, econometrics and programming with a practical overview of everything. I met all kinds of people of all ages on my course with whom I became close and built a long-lasting friendship. The programme enabled me to develop my interpersonal and communication skills, as well as building a robust academic formation and giving me extra qualities and strengths needed to stand out in the job market.
