            1983-1987, MBA

It has Visionary Programs for ProfessionalsHaving been out of the university for 25 years, I found my experience had actually kept pace with academia and Dallas Baptist University magnified my business knowledge through the MBA programs where I applied my experience in accounting and management as MBA concentrations. DBU also had an experiential program, which I did not utilize, but should have, to give credit to adults for occupational proficiency which is a valuable resource for getting momentum toward a degree, a program state universities cannot give. The leaders in this are tested industry people. As I worked with many professionals it would have been demeaning for many of them to return to academia and have to start at ground zero.

With the personalized attention given by each professor to not only teach but also to mentor me, to develop me as a scholar and Christian, and to make a personal investment in my future, I have matured into a driven and passionate young professional. DBU has far prepared me well in advance to my master level peers at another university and has led me to excel with a 4.0 GPA in the program. I am confident that it was the outstanding education and professors who made the difference. DBU cares about me and will do whatever it takes to see me to success.
