Given it's size, the sense of community is real - encompassing faculty, staff and students. You can feel it by simply walking around the gorgeous campus and watching the personal interactions.VP of Sales at Welvie

If you want a well-rounded liberal arts education then look no further. Cornell is located in a quaint little town that is full of interesting shops and things to explore. More importantly, though, you learn so very much. The classes are interdisciplinary and the professors care about you, your class work, and your professional development. My path at Cornell and my career were guided by my very first professor during my first block. She later became my adviser and helped me develop my own degree (Bachelor or Special Studies). I developed great relationships with my professors and advisers and I still keep in contact with a handful of them. You will get many unique opportunities here (such as a open dialogue and book discussion with an author of a book, a debate between Karl Rove and Dee Dee Meyers, a visit from the President of the United States, pet therapy day, the annual staff no-talent show, and so so much more) that will cultivate a young academic into a thoughtful, culturally aware, active citizen that can write and think critically. I love my Alma mater and I hope many more generations of Cornellians have the wonderful life changing experience that I had.
