Concordia University Irvine - Bachelor's Degree
Concordia University Irvine traces its early beginnings to a group of Southern California Lutherans whose vision of building a Lutheran college for the people of the Pacific Southwest led them to Irvine, California. Construction of the new school began, following the approval of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) and by 1976 the institution opened its doors as the Christ College Irvine. The college expanded its grounds and enrollment grew throughout the years until finally becoming Concordia University Irvine in 1993.
Today, its campus sits on a 70-acre plateau and boasts of over 20 buildings that house its 5 schools through which it offers bachelor's degree programs in over 100 concentrations and master's degree programs in areas of business, coaching, healthcare, theology, education, nursing, counselling, and organizational leadership. Concordia University Irvine enrolls over 4,000 students, almost half of which belong to various minority groups.
